Homeland Security Grant Program Stakeholders Listening Conference Call, May 6

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Mayorkas is committed to fostering meaningful dialogue with Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) stakeholders to ensure the program remains relevant and effective in addressing the Nation’s current threat environment. As a part of that effort, the FEMA Grant Programs Directorate (GPD) is engaging with a variety of homeland security stakeholders and organizations to solicit feedback that can help inform FEMA’s recommendations in developing the HSGP program framework, priorities, and policies for Fiscal Year 2022. GPD will be hosting a listening session for national association leadership and members, including IAEM, with HSGP interests on May 6, 2021, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. EDT. During the Listening Session, FEMA will review and collect feedback from attendees on grant policy and the national priority areas; risk methodology; technical assistance; process and complexity; and communication and customer service.
