#SafePlaceSelfie Day is April 7! On that day, please join our friends at the National Weather Service and tweet a selfie in your safe place from hazardous weather. The goal is to prompt your followers to identify their safe space and increase awareness and readiness. Tweets can be serious, funny or both (one person held a rubber chicken as a noisemaker, many wear bike helmets, etc.). Feel free to tag @NWS, use #SafePlaceSelfie and/or link to https://www.weather.gov/safety/. You might even want to challenge a colleague during the event.
